Exhaust Rattles On 60305 Hitch

Written by Hitchweb Team Thursday, May 22, 2014

I installed the Hidden Hitch #60305 trailer hitch on my Impreza Sedan and the exhaust is rattling.

There has been some complaints about these trailer hitches rattling on the sideplate on the 2012 - 2014 Subaru Impreza Sedans. The manufacturer is aware but this hitch is still being confirmed to fit and is still being sold. They are trying to work on the issue but have not found a solution, because of this we have removed the item from our website.

The Curt #112843 has a cutout in the sideplate which might negate this issue. We have not received any compaints on this trailer hitch.

Please contact our team if you have any questions - Hitchweb Team

What Is Rear Fascia

Written by Hitchweb Team Wednesday, May 21, 2014

The tech notes on your website show rear fascia trimming is required, what is 'rear fascia' ?

The rear fascia is what most people would call the rear bumper or the single panel that conceals the bumper. This is usually made of a soft, plastic material.

What is the difference between groove style and hole style pin & clips?

Groove style: has a groove that the clip would slide over and hold in place
