"Universal Rail Kit" is a commonly used term in the heavy duty towing industry. Universal means it can be used with many different manufacturers.

When referring to the "universal rail kit" for 5th wheels - majority mean the Reese install kit 30035 or the Curt install kit 16200. Even though 30035 is a Reese part number and 16200 is a CURT part number, they both have the same features. See below:

Universal Fifth Wheel Rails Install Kit

  1. 10 bolt installation

  2. Fits Gooseneck & 5th Wheel Hitches by Valley, Reese (not Elite), Hidden Hitch, Curt, B&W, Drawtite

  3. Includes Rails, Brackets, & Hardware

Hello Jeff, You may have the Reese Universal Rail Kit #30035 https://www.hitchweb.com/product/88/30035/10-Bolt-Style-5th-Wheel-Gooseneck-Universal-Installation-Kit-Gloss-Finish If that is the case, then any fifth wheel made to fit the 10 Bolt Reese #30035 or Curt #16200 rail kit will work for you. We do suggest purchasing a custom install bracket kit though. If this is not the rail kit you have in your truck, please let us know and we will look into an alternate solution.

Hello, We need to know a few things before quoting you on the correct brackets: 1) What brand are your rails? 2) Do they mount above or below your bed? 3) Are they 10 bolt or 4 bolt rails? 4) Are you looking for drill or no drill brackets? Once we have this information we can assist you further. In the meantime, please click on this link to view our bracket options: https://www.hitchweb.com/category/HD-A-2-2/Custom-Install

We first need to know what SuperGlide Fifth Wheel model (capacity) you have. Also, can you please confirm what size GMC pickup you have. Once we have this information we can reply with the correct kit.

Unfortunately Reese does not offer a rail kit for a flat bad trailer. We do however offer the

Binkley Mini Fifth Wheel

which welds directly to the flat bed.
