AIR HELPER SPRINGS - HELP GUIDE

Firestone Air Spring

THE BASICS:

There are 2 air spring styles available: Ride-Rite for heavier loads and Sport-Rite for lighter loads. Air Helper Springs are vehicle specific and include mounting hardware.

AIR-RIDE ACCESSORIES - TIPS

The accessory components include: Air Tanks, Gauges, Control Panels, Compressors, Air Line Service Kits, Rapid Response Systems, Level and Air Command Kits. Air accessory systems provide instant control of the air helper springs from within the vehicle. They allow for quick inflation and delation for various road and load conditions. All compressors are direct drive unites (no oil or belts) which means the compressor can be mounted in any position without detriment to the compressor.

If you are adding a Single or Dual Control Panel:

Pneumatic panels require an air tank. These panels have switches that direct air flow and are used with systems using pressure switches and air tanks.

Electric panels are used with a compressor. These panels contain an electro-pneumatic switch which will control a compressor and direct air flow.

You might ask WHAT IS THE BETWEEN RIDE-RITE AND SPORT-RITE?
