Q) Do the air helper springs improve the ride?
A) When the vehicle is loaded, they assist the existing suspension carry the load and improve the ride significantly. In an unloaded vehicle there will be no change to the ride.
Q) Do the air helper springs increase the vehicle's capacity?
A) The springs do not alter a vehicle's gross weight rating. Never exceed the manufacturer's GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating)
Q) Do air helper springs replace existing suspension?
A) The air helper springs are attached to the existing suspension. Nothing is removed or altered.
Q) Should there be air pressure in the air helper springs while the vehicle is empty?
A) There should always be air pressure in the air helper springs. Refer to the table for minimum pressure:
Q) What is included in a basic kit?
A) Brackets, air springs, hardware, air line and inflation valves for manual inflation are all included. Optional air accessories are available for all applications. The below image shows what a basic kit would include:
