HOW TO FIGHT PANDEMIC FATIGUE

Are you feeling Exhausted? Anxious? Depressed? Its likely Pandemic fatigue!

Did you know we are over a year into this Pandemic? Time has never gone so fast yet so slow!

We started the pandemic motivated to stay active, cheering for front line workers and hosting game nights via zoom but lately those activites have stopped for many of us! This friends, is called Pandemic Fatigue. So what can we do about it? Here's our most helpful tips:

 

1) The obvious. Take care of your body! It's easy to forget about yourself when you're busy worrying about protecting everyone around you! Get enough sleep, drink water, and try to get outside every day!

2) Limit your news intake! Too much negative information going in causes negative emotions to come out! 

3) Monitor your social media intake! What else is there to do, right? You throw on a show and take out your phone. TikTok is a rabbit hole that sends you far, far down. Don't let it eat up all your attention - anxiety can build up from too much screentime. 

 

4) Connect with friends and family virtually or go for a walk with someone you know - keeping a safe distance of course!

5) Create new traditions! Better weather is coming which means more time can be spent outside.

Have you ever gone camping? Maybe that's too much at one time, but you can start small with taking a day trip.
