Have you ever noticed some wobble in your receiver when using your bike rack?
Well, there is a solution for this.
Even the best fitting bike racks can ocassionaly have a little sway/wobble when you're on the road, especially when fully loaded with all your bikes. The best solution is to get an anti-rattle pin kit to help get the tightest fit possible. These pin kits are available for both 1 1/4" receivers as well as 2" receivers and some can be locked for extra security.
Our most popular pin for 2" receivers is part# TAR300 from Trimax - here are a few of the key features and benefits:
- - Built with an adjustable pin for a tight fit that eliminates rattle
- - Crafted from 100% stainless steel
- - 5/8" pin fits most 2" class III, IV and V receiver hitches
- - Patented 1/4-turn technology so hitch pin cannot be false locked
- - Includes two type A keys featuring a 7-pin design for extra security
- - Protective O-ring keeps the locking mechanism clean and
free of debris or water - - The rubber cap also keeps all of the elements out of the keyhole
- - Lifetime Warranty
The install is also a breeze!
- Install lock nut, align with holes
- Insert draw bar into receiver and tighten
- Replace 5/8" sleeve and lock pin
